Adjei is teaching dancing 4 days a week, from Monday to Thursday - and his weekly courses is running for 10 weeks at a time, and every lesson lasts for 1½ hour. For more information about dates, time schedules and prices, you can go to the individual links for each location.
If desirable, it is fully possible to participate in more than one course, if you wish to dance more than once a week, or to combine a drumming course and a dance course. We will then give a discount for course nr.2 (and 3). This applies for combinations among all the courses in both Oslo, Lørenskog and Drammen.
Dancing:
The different dances are continiously repeated - and brought on to new courses - so that we wont forget. On the advanced course in Oslo we will on occasions invite various drummers to accompany our dancing.
Drumming: You will during the course learn the basic techniques, and you will also be taught about rhythm theory, timing and different rhythm combinations. If you do not have a drum of your own - you can by or rent a drum from us. We can also arrange/provide for a repair/recondition(ing) of your broken drum

During the courses we will learn different styles of techniques/movements,
and at least one new dance in each course. At course start-up we are all
novices - and as the dancing runs its course, and you recognize the
movements and are able to put them in connection to each other according
to the rhythm, it is really fun. But the most important is not the
technical skills and ability to do it right - but the joy, good spirits
and energetic rhythm communicated through Adjei to us.
